Savannah Benton is the Games and Movement Instructor for EMCS since 2016. As a University of Rochester graduate majoring in International Relations, Savannah spent the past 3 years traveling between Rochester, Malaysia and Malawi to work as a teacher, youth program developer and researcher. Savannah is an advocate for educational and economic equity and loves inspiring youth to use civic engagement to make the world a better place.
As a collegiate athlete, Savannah is passionate about using physicality to learn about leadership, teamwork, and having fun. Her favorite book is Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Her favorite cuisine is sushi. And her favorite social media account is her own cat’s instagram.
