7th and 8th-grade males at ECMS-Inglewood participate in Gentlemen’s League, a program spearheaded by Cesar Delgado. Gentlemen’s League aims to provide male youth with the skills they need to take on issues of self-esteem, plan for future goals, college, careers, and build communication and life skills. Students have the opportunity to connect with mentors to explore issues of gender, identity, and ethnicity.
Our students built a giant Jenga set that all student can use during recess. This project allowed participants to use hand tools, many for the first time, to build their skills and boost their confidence.
