Angela Fiorante is the 6th grade math and science teacher at Environmental Charter Middle School – Inglewood. With over 10 years of experience teaching 6-8 grades, she began her teaching career at the preschool level. She was a founding teacher for a charter school in Inglewood and has taught at a variety of charter schools in South LA and the South Bay in a variety of subject areas including STEM, language arts and music. Angela is at Environmental Charter Schools because she is drawn to the beautiful campus and opportunities to share her passion for teaching and love of the environment. Her love of learning and passion for social change fuels her excitement to be a part of an innovative school community.
Angela completed her Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Sciences and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at California State University, Long Beach. She also obtained her multiple subject teaching credential at California State University, Long Beach. Go Beach! She is a strong advocate of being a life-long learner; she plans to go back to school to obtain a second credential in the field of special education.
Angela is a California native and grew up in Southern California. She went to high school in Granada Hills and later moved to the South Bay area. Her hobbies include going to the beach, watching and playing sports, paddle boarding, snowboarding, traveling, reading a good book, trying new restaurants, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.
